The worst part was dealing with support that kept repeating the same scripted explanation instead of offering a real solution. I was told to wait for an automated “cooling period,” with no clear timeline, no manual override, no proper escalation, and no useful workaround for contacting my customers.
This directly affected my business. I was losing customer communication because my outgoing emails were blocked, yet support continued to frame the issue as something I must have caused. At one point, it genuinely felt like they expected me to prove lost customer emails or “spam history” before they would take the problem seriously, while repeatedly hiding behind the claim that their automated system was working as intended.
For a business email provider, this is unacceptable. Security is important, but blocking a business email for hours with no real fix, no urgency, and no accountability is not protection, it is a business disruption.
If you rely on email to communicate with customers, I would be very careful before using Hostinger business email. When something goes wrong, you may be stuck waiting for an automated system while support tells you there is nothing they can do.
